Independent company finder

Home security installers, monitoring & response

Find equipment suppliers and professional installers separately from companies that watch alarm signals around the clock. Filter the directory for the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia or Ireland.

Monitoring is not the same as attendance. A 24/7 centre may verify an alert and call you, a keyholder or emergency services. Guard attendance, police response and live camera intervention are separate services and may depend on the plan, verification rules, location and local authority policy. Confirm the written response procedure before signing.
How listing status works. Unclaimed means independently researched but not business-endorsed; claimed means an authorised representative manages the profile; independently checked means core identity, service scope and an applicable official source were reviewed on the date shown. Featured visibility is commercial and never replaces verification. Read the full verification standard →

Four questions to ask before you buy

1. Who actually monitors?Ask whether the centre is owned by the provider or subcontracted, where it is based and what certification or grading it holds.
2. What happens first?Get the exact sequence: app alert, audio/video verification, call list, keyholder, guard and emergency services.
3. Who attends?Confirm whether “response” means notification only, a paid guard visit, a nominated keyholder or police contact after verification.
4. What are the terms?Check minimum term, installation ownership, cancellation, call-out charges, maintenance and cellular-backup costs.

How this directory is built

Listings are selected for usefulness, geographic coverage and a verifiable official service page. Inclusion is not an endorsement or paid ranking. We describe only the response actions supported by current first-party information and deliberately avoid calling notification-only products “response services.”

  • Always obtain a written site-specific quote and response procedure.
  • Check installer licences, certification scope and local permits independently.
  • Services and response policies can change; use the official link to confirm current availability.

Planning gates or access control?

Read the security gate and access-control guide before requesting quotes, especially for powered gates and emergency-release design.

Need emergency security work?

Read how to secure a damaged door or window after a break-in before arranging boarding, locks, glazing or alarm repairs.

Check directory claims independently

Use the smart-alarm standards guide and monitoring evidence checklist before contacting providers.
