Canada monitored security directory

Home security monitoring and response companies in Canada

Compare companies offering professional alarm monitoring and an escalation process when a security or safety alert is received.

Monitoring is not guaranteed attendance. A monitoring centre may verify an alert, contact you or a keyholder, request emergency services, or arrange private response depending on the plan, verification evidence and local policy. Confirm the exact sequence in writing before signing.

Questions to ask every provider

  • Who operates the monitoring centre, and is it independently certified?
  • How are alarms verified before escalation?
  • Who is contacted first: you, a keyholder, police, fire service or a private responder?
  • Which response services cost extra or depend on location?
  • What happens during internet, mobile-network or power failure?
  • What is the minimum contract, cancellation process and equipment ownership position?

Service areas, emergency-dispatch practices and alarm bylaws vary by province and municipality. Confirm availability using the property’s exact address.

Listings are informational and are not endorsements. Service availability and response policies change. Unclaimed listings are based on publicly available provider information and have not been verified by the company. See our listing-status and verification standard.

Verify standards and accreditation

Check the installer, monitoring centre, communication path and response claims before relying on any certification badge.

Directory record status

Verification status: These are editorial comparison records, not endorsements. “Unclaimed” means the company has not taken control of the record. Confirm current availability, pricing, licensing/accreditation, contract terms and response arrangements before purchase.

Alarm verification before escalation

Ask the provider exactly how an alarm is verified before contacts, guards or emergency services are called. Confirm whether it uses multiple sensor signals, audio/video verification, callback procedures or another approved process; what happens when nobody answers; and how false activations affect the account. Monitoring does not guarantee dispatch, police attendance or a particular response time.

Provider availability recheck

Rogers and Bell security deep links did not resolve to a current orderable home-security page when checked on 2 September 2026. Their records remain unclaimed and availability-unconfirmed. Do not treat a telecom homepage, legacy package name or previous monitoring description as evidence that a service is currently sold at a particular address.
