Cancel the service without losing evidence or essential security
Subscription cancellation may change recording, alerts, detection features, warranties, cellular backup and access to existing clips. Export what you legitimately need, remove sharing and confirm deletion before the deadline.

Safe exit sequence
- Record the plan end date and feature changes.
- Export only necessary footage and store it securely with context and dates.
- Revoke public links, household users, installer access and third-party integrations.
- Switch critical cameras to tested local storage or a replacement service before the old plan ends.
- Test alerts, timestamps, playback and outage behaviour after the change.
- Request account or footage deletion where appropriate and retain confirmation.
- If selling or disposing of equipment, remove it from the account and factory-reset it using current manufacturer instructions.
Preserve evidence properly
If footage relates to a crime, insurance claim, dispute or access request, do not rely on a cloud timeline alone. Preserve the relevant original export and associated date, time-zone and camera information, restrict access, and follow advice from the appropriate authority or professional.
